Whatever works: Get with someone who will be kind while still telling you what you do not want to hear, and to do things that you know you must but are reluctant to try. Be very brave. Good cbt will help you look out rather than in, forward rather than backward, at what you love instead of what you hate. This is a great step. Congratulations on wanting to change.
