How long has it been: For what reason was the surgery done? Did you have actual appendicitis ? Or just right lower quadrant pain? How bad is the pain? What makes it worse? Did the pain you have now pre-date the appendectomy or begin after the surgery? Does food affect it? Activity? What did your surgeon say about the pain? Is it slowly improving or worsening or staying the same? Need a bit more info.

Possible: As if you had open appendectomy your muscle were split and you can have pain for some time. However, just for being on the safe side i would put a phone call to the surgeon!
