Not related: Congratulations on quitting smoking! keep it up. The laryngitis is very likely unrelated to the fact that you no longer smoke. Voice rest and hydration are your best immediate management. If you remain hoarse after 1-2 weeks, see an otolaryngologist for direct visualization of your vocal folds.
