Nerve problems: The symptoms that you describe do not seem related to a TMJ problem. Whenever there are symptoms of numbness and lack of feeling, there is nerve involvement. It is important to rule out spinal nerve root or spinal cord involvement and you must be evaluated and managed by a neurologist.
