Not normal.: Although it's very hard to determine what the problem is, you should discuss this with your doctor. It could be a pinched nerve in the neck, a gallbladder or stomach issue, musculoskeletal issue, or any of a number of other things some minor some serious.

Neck nerve roots : Pain with numbness is not normal. You may have spinal nerve root irritation, probably in the neck. Please get an evaluation with a rehabilitation medicine specialist or neurologist.
