6 weeks pregnant: Unfortunately, it sounds like your may have a miscarriage. If the sonogram showed a fetal pole measuring 6 weeks and the was no fetal heart motion, then you have a non-viable pregnancy. If they just saw a sac only, then another sonogram should be repeated in 1 week. 3 weeks is too long to wait to get you a definite answer.
