YES: Leaving broken teeth in the gum is asking for trouble. Infection, pain and swelling are commonly associated with broken teeth. Have these broken teeth either restored or extracted soon and save yourself numerous problems. You have neglected your teeth long enough.

Yes: This is very possible if there is infection in the tooth. If they are upper teeth, then it can seriously affect the surrounding tissues and bone, and extend into the sinus areas. See the dentist asap for evaluation and treatment options. Good luck.

Absolutely Yes: Broken teeth in the gum becomes a home for infections. These bacteria not only go into the sinus and the roof of the mouth, they also drop into the blood stream and go everywhere in your entire body that your blood stream goes. Then they settle out in weak area of every organ and place they can find. This is too dangerous = get these broken teeth out now.

Yes: Any time that portions of teeth are left in the mouth when they should be extracted, you increase the risk for infection and outer unsavory outcomes. If the tooth roots are near or into the maxillary sinuses, they can cause sinus conditions and possible infection. Get the teeth out rather than risk having other serious medical conditions that could result from doing nothing. Keep smiling !
