Mild topicals : You can try a mild topical steroid cream over the affected area such as bethamethasone two times a day for two weeks. This should calm the area of inflammation. Then you can simply apply to area2-3 times a week (once a day) to prevent a new flare up please beware of typical steroid side effects such as discoloration, our thinning of skin in affected area just to name a few.
