At risk: You can improve your cholesterol profile & reduce your heart disease risk by eating more fresh veggies, avoid processed & fatty foods and exercise. Fish oil supplements may also help. You're also carrying a little too much weight. Possible CAD: Your goals for LDL are based on your risk factors for atherosclerosis, so unable to tell you accurately about your "ideal" lipid levels. However, you do appear to have dyslipidemia, and probably " metabolic syndrome". These are major risk factors for developing coronary artery disease.
