See your doctor: Numbness could be due to low calcium and chill feeling could be low thyroid. Both low calcium and low thyroid can occur after thyroid or parathyroid surgery. Only way to know is with bloodwork. See your doctor to get this done. Vitamin d deficiency is another common problem after surgery for a parathyroid tumor.

Depends: If surgery was a long time ago then unlikely. If just had surgery it might be because calcium is now low. Usually causes tingling and numbness if this is the case. Get blood calcium checked.
