NSAID's Sometimes: Nsaids sometimes help much more than opioids. The "stronger" ones like Indocin (indomethacin) sometimes a little better. In severe cases, radiation to the bone can relieve severe pain. In the worst cases, dissociative drugs lilke ketamine are amazing at tiny doses. Find someone experienced in their use to avoid a lot of problems.

Cancer pain: Cancer pain can be severe. The dose of narcotics needs to be titrated upwards quickly to get good control of pain. There is no upper limit to the dose. She needs the dose that works.
