You need an exam : Irregular bleeding is one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections & hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do a home pregnancy test . There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.

Becareful: Sex activity is a natural part of life but should be healthy and consensual. If he is being too aggressive and causing you trauma you should stop. If however there is no pain and no other symptoms, a small amount of bleeding might be nothing to worry about. I would still rec that if you have started sexual activity see a gynecologist and start birth control. Good luck jp.
