Post-surgical: Doubtful if any help can be offered over the internet for this. If there are problems post surgery that are unexpected, severe, or you cannot tolerate - you need to return for more post-surgical follow up asap. Examination and studies can tell if something unexpected is wrong, and the doc can determine based on follow up exam what pain management options might be ok at this time. It can depend.

See doctor: You should follow up with your surgeon and if they say it is normal get a second opinion from another surgeon or see am interventional pain physician.
