Define healing: Healing can be clinical or radiographic. Meaning, do you mean that your foot still hurts, is swollen or tender to the touch? Or, does the x-ray still demonstrate a fracture line and a lack of new bone? Some patients feel much better before the x-ray shows full healing. Some patients continue to have pain even if the x-ray demonstrates improvement. So, let your doctor help you define healing.
