Only combo works: If you do not "gang up" on back pain, you are not successful. Need an antiinflammatory (nsaid), muscle relaxant, and pain med. Magnesium sometimes helps, plus heat. Massage and gentle stretching often helps as well. See your dr for an integrated approach.

Yoga: If you don't have a major issue with your back, and you probably don't given your age, i recommend yoga. I have seen patients with chronic problems have almost complete relief after a month if two. Just don't be one of those people who say they don't have time. Find time. You need 60-90 min twice a week. Its work, but the way to go. Feel better.
