Not sure..: The diagnosis of anastomosis ulcer for an appendix should be clarified for you. During an appendectomy there isn't usually an anastomosis. So question your surgeon to explain this to you better... Did she have part of colon removed or just the appendix? Even if had her colon removed an ulcer of a colon anastomosis is an unusual diagnosis.
