Your surgeon will: determine how long the staples need to stay in place. Usually 10 to 14 days but it is variable depending on your clinical condition and body build. Ask when you go in for your next post operative visit.

I have sharp pain on my upper left abdomen. No gall bladder problem. No ulcer according to endoscope. Now my stomach is very bloated. I've taken Bascopan, as well as Lansoprazole but not helping anymore. Any idea what the cause is?
