Hepatitis C : The most common answer would be no. I have never seen a surgeon ask for this kind of screening for any of my patients prior to going to the or. But, when asked about your medical history please be honest if you are hepatitis c positive. They should not treat you any differently but will be extra cautious for the staff working with the surgeon.
