Fever, headache: High fevers in children can be dangerous: risk of seizure, concern for meningitis, infection are of concern. If it hurts when he bends his neck (chin to chest), that is especially concerning for meningitis. See pediatrician immediately. Keep his body temp cool with cool compresses.
