Meds or surgery: Hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating, can be managed either with medicine or surgery. Medications include antiperspirants, botulinum injection at the nerve that causes the sweating, or anticholinergic drugs. You can also surgically sever the nerve, in refractory cases.
