Baby Crying : Is she lethargic? Any fever? Sometimes a child develops a "stomach bubble" or some other temporary GI motility problem, but in my experience, this is a harbinger of an acute illness. I would call her pediatricin right away and see what he recommends. He may want you to bring her into the er tonight, depending on what you tell him. Don't worry - that's what her doctor is there for!

Other symptoms?: If fever, diarrhea follow, it may be a viral illness. Most important is that she is able to keep down clear liquids and makes wet diapers. If not, she should be evaluated by her pediatrician or taken to urgent care/er.
