See a dentist: I recommend that she sees a dentist and a medical doctor. A dentist can evaluate her full medical history including medications that she may be taking that could be affecting her taste. This could also be a systemic problem so a medical doctor can evaluate her for those issues also. Different issues can cause problems with taste buds so it is important to have everything evaluated completely.
