Inflammation: You may have pleuritis -- inflammation of the lining of the lung usually related to pneumonia or tumor - please see your doctor asap!

Pneumonia possible: If you have a fever or cough or feel ill it could be a pneumonia. Also pleurisy, fractured rib caused by fall or coughing and blood clot can also cause such pain. Please talk to your doctor.
