Yes: It is possible to have a withdrawal reaction from discontinuing viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride). Consult your doctor. I often prescribe fluoxetine for a week to minimize withdrawal symptoms. Fluoxetine has a very long half life so that there are minimal withdrawal symptoms. Once again --call your doctor.
