Raynaud's Phenomenon: Raynaud's phenomenon results from an exaggerated blood vessel constriction in response to cold temperatures. Usually associated with a hand discoloration. Could be related common connective tissue disorders. Other rare conditions can cause a painful response to cold mediated by immunoglobulin production due to inflammation (cryoglobulin and cold agglutinins). Check with your physician.
