A member asked:

What can i do to quickly act on my swollen knee due to gout attack?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Evaluation by a MD: If you have been diagnosed in the past with gout, a physician can prescribe a few different medications to help with the pain including Indomethacin and colchicine. If you never have been diagnosed with gout, your pain could be several other potential diseases which warrant an evaluation by a physician.
