A member asked:

If i have raynaud's disease, will i still be able to donate blood?

Yes you could: As long as your hemoglobin is normal, you should be able to donate blood although sometimes the blood banks want to take blood only from perfectly healthy people. But your blood is clean and good for use by a needy person and it does not pose any risk of spreading any diseases.

Yes: Raynaud's syndrome, a spasm of the small vessels of the hands, is most often related to cold weather, emotional stress, or a multitude of other factors. Raynaud's is not a communicable disease and certainly not spread by blood. Donate away!
