What are the side effects of treatment for uterine cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bleeding, pain, etc: Treatment may cause many of the same issues as the diaease but they will go away. Surgery is usually required and soreness associated with healing can occur. Additionally removal of ovaries may b done and cause hormonal changes. Often pts need radiation and possibly chemotherapy. Radiation can cause temporary irritation in your bladder or rectum. These side effects should pass after few months.
