Please see below.: Technically speaking, yes you have had a mild head injury. The fact that you lost consciousness although only very briefly indicates injury to the brain. Head injury can be mild, moderate or severe. There are different scales to rate the head injury. It can also be said that you had a concussion.

Probably: Head trauma that results in loss of consciousness, by definition, is at least a concussion. Most of the time it results in no permanent condition but repeated concussions are potentially the cause of post traumatic encephalopathy.
