Local rxn: There can be large local reactions. If there are any signs of infection obtain medical care. Have you had a tetanus shot in the last ten years? Remove stinger by scraping along edge of skin with a credit card. Clean area with soap & warm water. Apply ice in 10 minute increments; alternating 10 on & 10 off. Try a bag of cold peas. You can take meds like tylenol (acetaminophen) or nsaid's for pain. See below.
