A member asked:

I have low platelet count and i took motrin, will it cause me to bleed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: It depends how low the platelet count really is. Counts below 50, 000 are the most problematic. Generally, Motrin and other nsaids should not be used if the platelet count is low because of increased risks of bleeding.
