NSAiDS: Good to take food with Motrin. Side effects like abdomen pain and bleeding depends on dose and other medications interactions with blood thinner like Aspirin/ Plavix/ Coumadin (warfarin) and anti depression meds. Coexist bacteria in stomach with Helicobacter pylori can increase complications.

Yes you still are: The gastric side effects of motrin are reduced by taking the Motrin on full stomach after a meal but eating crackers will do nothing.You have to take it with or after a meal to minimize the gastric irritation,stomach pain and bleeding
