See your doctor: At your age the most likely cause is lack of or diminished Progesterone and it is Progesterone that helps the periods to be regular. This can cause prolonged and chaotic periods. Other causes can be polyps or fibroids in the uterus, abnormal cells on the cervix or in the uterus. You need to see your doctor and be evaluated. This needs to be dealt with.
