Period: Your needs labs (check for anemia, thyroid disorder, iron level, and other conditions), need a gyn exam, possibly an ultrasound in some ocasssions biopsy of hte uterus linning., check for std, review your medications, or if have been on birth control pill, Depo-Provera shot or have had iud. Talk to your doctor.
