Many possibilities: There is an entire chapter in many gynecology textbooks outlining the possibilities that are too numerous to outline here in this space. However, if you find a ABOG certified OB GYN MD who has digested all of the many textbook lessons by making an appointment to see him/her for an examination, I am sure a cause and treatment can be determined.
