Depends: If it is lumbar strain or spasms and the pain is isolated to the back, it's probably fine. If you have pain radiating to your legs or weakness with loss of bowel or bladder control, then you may have an emergency and you should not do gymnastics. If the pain is effecting your function, see a physician for a medical evaluation. Good luck.
