Typically: Typically recommend a doughnut cushion to sit on to remove pressure on the area. Can also consider a ganglion of impar block.

Coccydynia: Tailbone pain can occur with or without injury. Only real concern is to exclude a sacral tumor (extremely rare). If bowel/bladder habits normal, probably ok. Treatment included nsaid's, and a sitting pillow. Not a doughnut, but a foam wedge with triangle cutout. This keeps you sitting leaning forward without pressure on the coccyx. If persistent, removal is rarely needed but successful.
