Pediatric urologist: Should take her to pediatric urologist. She may be holding it in too long. This often happens when kids first start school.

Often simple: At 4 yo if she tub bathes she sits in soapy water and does a mini-douche with that material every time she crosses her legs.Simple contact with that soap, or soap debris if not rinsed completely, can lead to nightime itching and result in uti's. Some girls need tub showers to avoid contact with soap or shampoo on their genitals. This simple change can stop many episodes.

Screening : Screening renal tests may include a blood test of renal function, culture with sensitivities and an ultrasound to detect abnormal structural conditions. Good hygiene is also important to avoid ascending infection to the bladder.
