My two boys have rsv and now i seem congested and my phlegm i spit up is clear with blood tinged red could this be related?

Maybe,maybe not: Adults get RSV rather often but seldom have any lower airway problems like small babies.Their immune system has built up some resistance to the germ over time and an infection limited to the nose & throat are common. This may certainly make you have increased secretions but should not make them blood tinged.
