No: There are benefits, however, they are not strong enough to advise an universal recommendation. Decision is up to the family, e.g., religious conviction, family tradition, etc.

Parent choice: Circumcisions are a personal choice common to various religious or cultural practices. They are common to some parts of the world and not other. They are simple and heal rapidly in newborns but become difficult as you get older. The infant males that get uti's are not circumcised & the frequency of std's is up a bit. In the end it is a matter of personal choice.

Your decision......: Circumcision, yes or no is a very personal decision. However, there is good evidence now that circumcised boys have fewer bladder/kidney infection, and are less likely to get HIV when sexually active. So, probably. Yes.
