Citalopram pros/cons: This common ssri type of medication that is used to treat depression and anxiety is thought to be relatively gentle when compared to other similar medications. It has the rare effect of too much sedation and too much energy in small amounts of people. It can cause a minor delay to ejaculation in sexually active men. It is a good medication in general and i recommend it frequently for my patients.
