Express Needs/Wants: I'd suggest 1st saying "i'm looking to transition to alternative medicine for anxiety"! then i'd suggest asking questions like: what are your thoughts about this? Are their particular things you'd suggest i consider or look into? Anything in particular you'd advise against? If your doc feels out of her/his comfort zone, i'd suggest asking him/her 4 referral 2 doc who is knowledgeable re: alt med.

Be frank: Be candid. Anxiety responds well to acpuncture, acupressure, meditation, imagery, deep breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation, tai chi, yoga & qi gong. Suggestion - transition. Incorporate alternative medicine while on your current regmien. Depending on results you could slowly cross titrate.
