A 34-year-old member asked:
My ultrasound at 4 weeks showed that there is nothing in my uterus. How can this be?

That is: not necessarily abnormal. The gestational sac sometimes shows up on ultrasound at 4 weeks, but may not appear until near the end of week 5.
