A member asked:

What resulting hormones can we live without and why?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Too many: There are thousands upon thousands of hormones in your body. They're all there for a reason. Some don't have significant effects after puberty, but almost all are very important at some point if your life -- and you're better off not trying to live without any of them. Loss of almost any hormone commonly leads to symptoms, disease and possibly even death. Don't leave home without them.
