See details: As you know, infections are the most common side effects of the tnf agent. You should stay off of Humira (adalimumab) until treatment of the abscess is completed.

Treat asap: Humira (adalimumab) is a tnf blocker which decreases the ability of your body to fight infections. Most likely the infection was already present and has just decided to manifest now that your body is unable to fight it as well. Your dentist will be able to tell what kind of infection it is (periodontal or tooth) and treat accordingly. It is important to get this infection taken care of while on this med.
