Could be pregnant: It depends on when you ovulate during your cycle- it takes about 7-10 days after you are impregnated for a conceptus to implant in the uterus and then start making the HCG hormone that is picked up by the test. It also depends on how sensitive the pregnancy test is. In addition, how regular are your periods? My point is, it can vary, so i wouldn't call it "negative" until you're 2wks late.
