Why does my brother-in-law's cornea in the eye pointed outwards and one time it had a liquidy white discharge on the tip of the pointed cornea ?

Cornea infection: Several reasons for what you describe. Infectious and non infectious. One situation is infection of cornea that cause it to break open. Fluid will leak from opening. In photo above the iris is protruding out of eye. Some organisms are prone to do this such as pseudomonas or acanthomoeba(contact lens users), gonorrhea (std carrier). Non infectious causescan be trauma or keratoconus complications.

Keratoconus/hydrops: It sounds like a disease called keratoconus- where the cornea is very unstable and steep or pointed. The whiteness sounds like the thin, unstable cornea had a break in it and developed some scarring- this is called hydrops. He should see a corneal specialist if he hasn't already! (i am a cornea trained ophthalmologist.).

Keratoconus : He may have a condition called keratoconus. The white could be scarring or an acute event of swelling. The "pointed" cornea is due to the bulging forward of the weakened tissue.
