Breakthru bleeding: Spotting in beteween exoected periods-alsp called break through bleeding is common with Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) and can last almost through your treatment.However, an exam and pregnancy test is necessary to say its 'normal'.I would also order a vaginal sonogram to rule out other abnormal conditions of uterine wall.Also one should rule out ectopic pregnancy.
