Gone in "60 seconds": Actually the Depo provera (medroxyprogesterone) shot wears off 75 to 100 days after the shot is given. It depends on your body weight. Patients who have obese BMI's usually wear off sooner(75 days) and normal BMI's later( 90 to100 days).
