Sorry you're sick!: One month after septoplasty and turbinate reductions will have allowed enough time for the tissues to heal, but not completely. Bloody mucous can certainly accompany a viral cold in this setting. You may wish to check with your surgeon regarding antibiotics so that secondary bacterial infection does not cause more severe problems or develop into sinus infection. Call your surgeon.

Not really: Normally bleeding after nasal surgery should stop within a few days. It is possible you have developed a sinus infection which can have these symptoms. You should go see the surgeon who did your nose surgery to see if you need treatment.
